Damnit I hate games like that, I want to do all the quests and explore but the fucking game has a timer. Never understood that shit, it's dumb. Any way to turn it off?

I sadly never played any of the Dead Rising games, even though I am a big fan of the genre.... what kind of timer does it have? Like a total gameplay timer for the campaign and after it runs out your campaign ends?

Watch them come out with some kind of pack that you can buy extra time. Greedy fucks

I just read up on it and it sounds like there is a different mode to the game which gives you a longer timer to do everything in the game, while different modes have shorter timers.

Interesting concept.... it would irk me if nothing else than because I often find at least a couple places in a game where I just get stuck for an hour lol, like you speed run through some part of a game and get to what seems to be "The End" of the part and you are stuck and you spend an hour retracing your steps and find out there was a key in a drawer in a desk down some dead end side hallway that looks like every other one of the 30 side hallways and there was nothing in the game log to tell you to find a key just some message saying "Open Exit Door"

I am quite sure I would get stuck on 4 of those type situations and be 10 hours behind the game timer

The first two games had internal timers too.

They're designed for you to replay them and add up different aspects of things you can do at once. If you want to screw around and dress funny, you can do it all you want.

Anyone else experienced one of those moments I described?

It always used to happen to me in the F.E.A.R games and what was scary the first time through was no longer scary after 11 retracing runs lol
