Anyone else see this? I haven't laughed that hard since the 50 page CCS Poster Appreciation Thread that was deleted.

Not yet, going next weekend with friends. It has 80-something percent on Rotten Tomatoes which is a pretty good sign.

I'm attempting to trick this girl into seeing it tonight, she said she wants to go to a movie.

This movie was great. Reynolds was spot on. It stayed close to the source material. Reynolds was born to play Wade Wilson/Deadpool.

As a big comic book nerd (mostly X-men), I watch all comic book movies. I have never been a fan of over the top violence and humor so personally I thought the movie was ok but from the standpoint of rating it based on what it was trying to be (ie a superhero movie with over the top violence and humor), it was perhaps one of the most well made comic book movies ever. It was exactly what it was intended to be and Ryan Reynolds was pretty much perfect for the role of Deadpool.

Yeah, I'm not sure I've ever seen a Ryan Reynolds film before but he just nailed that role. I'm not a comic book guy and know nothing about Deadpool other than what I saw in the movie... I just thought it was funny as all hell. Literally in tears at a few points. The use of song choice was especially funny I thought. From the opening credits on this movie was different than your typical super hero film.

Just saw it tonight. Loved it. Can't get Salt N Pepa 'Shoop' out of my head now. Was really a nice change of pace from the current comic movies. Excited for the sequel. Good to see a "superhero" movie can be successful without pandering to the sub-"R" rated audience. Be neat if it got DC thinking about an "R" Lobo movie.

Make sure to stay for the end-credits scene.

Welp just saw it. It was awesome and it really, really earned that R rating.

Awesome, loved every second of it. Awesome soundtrack, vulgar jokes, etc.
