Dear Jerry Angelo, our offensive line sucks and I was so tired of seeing Matt Forte hit in the back field nearly every time he touched the ball last year. To offset some of our shitty offensive line please sign the 75 year old Tony Richardson who is one of the best blocking FBs in NFL history. The seasons the back that he blocks for have speaks for itself. Please drop Wolfe or Bell and sign Richardson.

I know but when Matt Forte is averaging under 4 yards a carry again this year because our offensive line is horrible then this could help that situation.

This is not hey lets go get a blocking fullback to help out... this is lets go get one of the best in the history of the game that has paved the way for backs to have big years nearly every year in the NFL.

I don't think you get it, Mike Martz doesn't use traditional FBs in his offense. When he was the OC of the 49ers they cut their starting FB Moran Norris, who's now their starting FB and he got an extension in 2009. Signing Richardson only to not use him would be dumb. And if the Bears thought that they were gonna need a FB, Will Ta'ufo'ou would've made the roster instead of getting stashed on IR w/ a sprained MCL.
