San Antonio here, it can stop when the undergroud aquafers are full. I have live here for four years and hate the stages of drought each summer brings.

Dear BaBa,

Lick my hairy, cantankerous taint.

Also, dont move to New Orleans. I have big plans for those poor bastards.

Mother Nature just wants to turn Texas into a Tropical Rainforest because the one in Brazil is being torn down.

I've been fighting a one man battle vs. my lawn for the last two weeks now. It probably would look like Brazil otherwise.

When I think of Texas I think of oil guys in big hats eating ribs and driving big vehicles on wide, dry roads. I know nothing of Texas and have never been there, but that's what my mind seems to think Texas is like. So I think some rain and more green is probably a good thing.

Uh, we're at 20 dead with around 15 more missing. One town had 300 homes leveled along the river. We've had more than enough rain...

And you're probably thinking west Texas. East Texas has miles of forests. North Texas where I am is horse country. Miles of green prairie. Austin is by the Hill Country. Miles of beautiful rolling hills. It's a more diverse state than people think.

From what I've gathered, the rain is mostly in Eastern Texas, which is the green part of the state. Middle to Western Texas is mostly a waste land.

It's hit Houston bad but it's also hit central Texas bad between Austin and San Antonio. That's a nice part of the state. The part that people think is a wasteland is more West Texas. Say Midland-Odessa.

Yeah my sister lived in Del Rio for a few years.. so I know about the Wasteland.. I've never actually been. My sister and a few friends both say Austin is really nice.. San Antonio is okay.

I have relatives in Houston who say its humid as **** all the time, thus leaving me with zero desire to ever go there lol.

FTR I don't own any boots , big hats or oil fields.

As much as I want the aquifers to fill up the flooding has been horrible.
