I'm all for goal-line technology, I really don't see any negatives other than that it would take time while the clock is running.

Anything that helps get more calls correct, though I'm not sure what they'd need it for in soccer

Scenario:Ball hits crossbar, bounces down and starts back up but kicked out of mid-air by defender. Did it go in?

Yes. There's no reason not to. They only have to figure out a way to stop and look at the tape.

this is not a debate, it is a necessity. OR an additional official behind each goal who ONLY watches the goal line and verifies a penalty causing foul.

I don't think there is any way this should be blocked... and the rules committee must be feeling pressure to do this with the EPL pushing for it as well.

As far as I'm concerned, the longer it is delayed, the more it looks as though there's some reason (bribe$) for it not to be in place.

FIFA is corrupt, so I would not be shocked if they were taking bribes from some ultra-traditionalist.
