Well if Lou Piniella was traded for a player before, then maybe Quade can too. Though we suck with or without Quade, so we might as well keep him.

Quade is a filler until the franchise gets under control. That was the whole point of the hire. they knew the financial situations, wrigley issues, etc. The whole "great record" when quade took over was just a smoke screen for justifying the hire. He will probably fulfill his contract without termination until things are more stable.

Yeah, I don't mind Quade so much these days. I figure the more dumb shit he does, the better our draft position during the rebuild hahaha. But he's handled the media well so I'm happy with that.

There's been an issue with players respecting Quade. This was brought up on the radio not even a week ago. It's been said that Zambrano has zero respect for Quade as a manager. Even though Zambrano is a douchebag, it doesn't mean that other players don't feel the same way. I know the players like the country club atmosphere that Quade has created but they still may not care for his managing decisions/skills.
