Deng=Allstar?

Deng deserves All-Star consideration - Chicago Bulls Blog - ESPN Chicago

"I think he does get overlooked," Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau said after practice Monday afternoon. "But the things he's done for our team, he's had an All-Star type season. He really has. His ability to defend multiple positions, to rebound, score, make plays for us ... just his overall play. He's done everything for the team. Those guys sometimes do get overlooked and I think his toughness [does as well]. He gives you everything he has."

Deng sure is having a pretty good season. His biggest contribution is in defense. One of the biggest improvements in his game is that he's taking more 3's, which is great in spreading the floor. He's not a diva either, which I like. I think he's just out of being an allstar.

Deng moved from being a top 15 SF in the East to top 6. He still disappears in a lot of games, just not as many as he used to disappear in.

ALMOST there. Almost, but almost doesn't count. He's still younger than LeBron, so hopefully he really shines in the next few years. Most SFs usually hit their stride around 27, and peak around 28-29. Deng will be something special if he can continue his progress and stay healthy.

Deng is an all star he just has a cloud over him with that contract
