K.C. Johnson just reported on Chicago Tribune Live that Deng went through full contact practice and all signs point to him playing tomorrow in New York. He also mentioned Rip Hamilton is OUT until his groin has fully healed so that it isn't a problem going into the future.

I'm anxious to see what kinda Luol Deng we're going to be working with the rest of the season.

That guy is a dog of war!
I am not afraid of him.
He knows what he is doing.
His expressions during the Miami game tell it all.

The doctors told him that he can't hurt the wrist anymore by playing this year, so he should be good to go as long as he's not hurting. I'll be intrigued to see how his shot may be affected by the injury, if at all. Also will be watching to see how aggressive he'll be. Hopefully he can stay on the floor and be a productive offensive player and hold off on the surgery until the off-season.

I think Deng has been invaded by a body snatcher.

A few years ago if he broke a nail he would ask doctors for a 2nd opinion and then sit out for 2 years just to be on the safe side.

Now, if he had his arm sliced off, he would just shove a rake in the bloody stump and ask to get back in the game.

I hope Deng doesn't get timid and starts backing off of going to the basket and finishing in fear that he might get injured again.

Well he will likely play tonight, so I will be glued to the TV to see how well he plays. My buddy and I have courtside seats to saturday nights game in Milwaukee, so I am looking forward to seeing these guys first hand since all the injuries.

Hope the pain is low enough for Deng to deal with it we really need this guy lately.

Kobe gets a shot in his wrist once a week, Deng should look into that. It is VERY painful to do so, but it numbs the wrist enough to play at a high level! :beerbang:

Deng's invaluable

Deng is the epitome of what the Bulls are lacking right now....he is so mentally tough. It is evident how important he is to the Bulls by them losing 3 out of the last five due to a lack of "heart, hustle, and muscle."

Why can't I be MVP of the league? Why can't I be the best player in the league?

No, all we need is Dwight Howard, then we'd be undefeated.
