Deng selling his home

Chicago Bulls forward Luol Deng has placed his three-bedroom town home in Northbrook on the market for $639,000.

A native of Sudan who left Duke University after one year to enter the NBA draft in 2004, Deng has been with the Bulls his entire career.

Built in 2000, the 2,511-square-foot town home has two full baths, two half baths, a kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, a large master suite with custom closets and a lower level with a bathroom and lots of storage.

Deng paid $336,000 in 2004 for the town home, which is in a neighborhood popular with Bulls players.

Deng's listing agent, Constantine Grapsas, declined to comment.

Hmm either he's looking for a new home or something is up that the FO is definitely trading him.

Is that deal still on the table for Bulls/Sixers? If so, that's great.

Co-Sign, Bring On Iggy!

It makes sense salary wise. Theyre in the same ballpark. We already know theyre interested in Iguodala and we havent really heard too much about other wing players theyve been interested in recently. Im hoping.

But would u give up Taj and a conditional pick (most likely second) along with Deng for Iggy.

I dont see why it would cost us Deng, Gibson, AND a pick...but yeah, I would. You have guys out there like Mahimni.

And I dont think he's missed a game over the past 3 years. He creates offense and doesnt settle for jumpers. He can defend 3s nicely.

I like Iggy's intensity on the court. He's always mad at the other team and wants to shove it in their faces constantly.

Deng will start out hot, but fade by the 3rd quarter.

We've seen him start out like he's about to have a 35+ point night, only to score 5-6 in the second half. That gets only quickly. Iggy is more athletic and can get to the whole at will. He would be a nice compliment to Rose with Boozer and Noah to clean up the glass if he misses.

Add that to Korver roaming the 3 point line, and the Bulls could be a dangerous team. Plus, I feel like he could give us a solid shot at beating Miami as his size can match up with Wade, and lebron.

I was just thinking about something. One other trade Ive heard of involved Courtney Lee of New Jersey. New Jersey has kind of struck out this FA period. Maybe theres something to it. If we traded Deng to them for Courtnely Lee, we'd clear about 10 million of cap space. I doubt NJ would do it though. But if they were to do that, we could maybe trade Gibson and a pick to Philly for Iguodala. Ive read that Philly wants to shed salary.

What if we trade James Johnson instead of Gibson Because JJ is a SF.

Iguodala is not very good. I'll take Deng over him... I'd say Iggy is much better on offense, but you lose a great asset on defense and the boards with Deng. I think Iggy > Deng, but only by 1 point per game, and shoots a lower percentage...

Iggy's 5.5 assists and 2 steals look nice but I'll take Luol on the Bulls.

I get where youre coming from but part of the rationale is that Turner is like Iguodala. Meanwhile they traded Dalembert and didnt get a lot of rebounding in return. Im guessing Gibson is a big part of why theyd do the deal.

Exactly. If we add him things change that much more for vying for a high spot in the East. :buttrock:
