In a quick googlefu to verify I’ve only seen the ubiquitous compliments, not a direct quote from Payton. I have seen references from others saying Payton does think highly of him. That’s all we have to work with, seemingly. It’s good enough for me though, for now

Yea I just keep seeing people say that with no source. I'm okay with the hire either way but would be cool to read something
