I think it’s important to note that he’s had two failed HC stints and likely won’t get another. He could be a long term staple at DC for the team that hires him.

He may have one more left in him but be does have a Spags feel to him so Beta Ben and Allen can be our Reid/Spags.

Yeah this isn’t an official announcement. He’s just the leading candidate.

Dennis Allen would be a pretty damn good choice for DC.

I hope BJ brings the O-line coach over from Detroit and promotes him to OC. We don't need him to call plays, just get the O-line in check

Also more effective and less risky when you have an offense that scores points. I've yearned for the days of pairing aggressive playcallers on both sides of the ball. Sean Payton had a lot of success in New Orleans doing this with Greg Williams and Dennis Allen. OcConnel in Min, too, with Brian Flores.

If the Bears can build a stadium that amplifies the noise, that would help even more. We'd be brewing something special.

Rizzi and him were together in Miami, Rizzi was linked to Denver but if he's got a good relationship with Allen it makes sense that they're going together as a package considering the overlap between both jobs.

Gotta think Allen is coming here because of the roster, there's a lot of good pieces and plenty of capital to reshape it in his vision.

Allen has failed as a HC but he was in an impossible situation both times. Kinda impressive he got NO to 9-8 last year with Brees retiring, Payton bolting, and that brutal cap situation there.
