Well, a new thread has been posted.
We have a coaching thread and a Dennis Allen thread, but this apparently didn't fit in either of those so we start anew. Even without anything official.
But the fact that Detroit has named its DC and it's not Allen certainly points to Allen coming to Chicago soon.

You don't see it? When he was a DC, his defense was ranked number 1 in the league three times and number 2 once. His defense turnover ratio is is nearly 6:1, again leading the league. The Marx-Johnson Pressure Rating for pressure on QBs has his defenses better than the 85 Bears. In 2020, his defense scored more points than the Bears offense and gained more yards than the Lions offense. He's the defense that every man wants to be, and every woman wants to be with.
