Point guards Deron Williams(notes) of Utah, Chicago's Derrick Rose(notes) and Boston's Rajon Rondo(notes) will make their All-Star Game debuts next month in Dallas, sources said Thursday.

Williams, Rondo and Rose top the list of reserves chosen by the league's coaches to participate in the Feb. 14 game at Cowboys Stadium. The names won't be made official until Thursday night, but Yahoo! Sports has obtained the list of reserves.

Besides Rondo and Rose, the East roster includes Boston's Paul Pierce(notes), Toronto's Chris Bosh(notes), Charlotte's Gerald Wallace(notes) and Atlanta's Joe Johnson(notes) and Al Horford(notes).

The West reserves are the New Orleans' Chris Paul(notes), the Lakers' Pau Gasol(notes), Oklahoma City's Kevin Durant(notes), Dallas' Dirk Nowitzki(notes), Memphis' Zach Randolph(notes) and Portland's Brandon Roy(notes).

Among the notable candidates left off the team are the Los Angeles Clippers' Chris Kaman(notes), New York's David Lee(notes) and Denver's Chauncey Billups(notes).

Related: Al Horford, Derrick Rose, Kevin Durant, Rajon Rondo, Brandon Roy, David Lee, Chris Paul, Deron Williams, Chris Kaman, Chris Bosh, Gerald Wallace, Zach Randolph, Joe Johnson, Pau Gasol, Chauncey Billups, Paul Pierce, Dirk Nowitzki, Los Angeles Clippers

It's good that the Bulls finally had an Allstar, and this is well deserved. Although Rose shouldn't be breaking a 12 year streak of no Allstars, we should have had at least one in 06-07.

I would guess that Joakim Noah has no chance as being announced as an injury replacement with David Lee left off, as I don't see how they can choose Noah over Lee.

Pretty much what I figured in my Allstar post yesterday for the reserves in the East, except for Pierce getting in over Lee.

I'm happy that Zach Randolph made it out West. He's had a hell of a season, and it is good that his reputation didn't stop him from getting in the game.

rose has a busy weekend!

skills challenge
Rookie sophomore game
all star game.

if he can get into the dunk contest, and develop a 3pt shot by next year, we might have something amazing here.

Truly a time to celebrate, yes Rose deserved it. I had set myself up for disapointment so I am speechless, obviously the coaches are smarter than these stupid tv and radio analysts. Let's go Rose.

Oh and I don't think Rose can play in the rookie/sophomore game if he is in the all star game, but not sure on that.

Great that Rose made it, even if it is partly because the East has sucked this year so there were few other legit candidates.

If Horford can get in then you've got to think if the Bulls ever have a good record then Noah can make it.

Woohooo!! Way to go Rose!!

I knew deep down that ALL the East coaches couldn't that stupid to leave this kid off the all-star team. Not after the month he's been having.

I'm really surprised Horford made the team. He's honestly the 4th best player on the Hawks & not even the 2nd best center in the East. We all know who that is.

Now let's hope that Rose took some marketing & sales classes for that 1 year @ Memphis. It's All-Star recruitment time!

Brook Lopez didn't make it?

Kinda tough to vote a guy in when his team has only won 4 games. But congrats to the Nets, you've won 4 games! Only 6 more to go to keep from being the worst team in NBA history.

Sooooooo.....Bulls better than Nets means Noah is better than Lopez.....

I don't think so...Lopez is a better player...you said 2nd best center in the east...

If you are going by wins and losses...there should be no complaints...

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bulls
  2. Golden State Warriors
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
Congrats to Rose, he deserves it. But man is he going to be busy. I'm definitely watching all of the All-Star game this year. If Rose performs strong, he can further improve the attraction to one of those FAs who will be playing with him (or against him).

Sooooo...Do you just like inferring whatever you want into people statements or what? To quote your favorite line (in all caps as well) "DON'T PUT WORDS IN MY MOUTH".

Did I say Noah was the 2nd best center. Don't believe I did. I actually agree that Lopez is the better center. All I was pointing out is that the coaches are not going to vote in a guy who's team only has 4 wins, it almost never happens. If the Knicks had a winning record, I'm betting Lee would be an All-Star this year too.
