For the second time this season,Derrick Rose was named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week
The NBA announced Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose as Eastern Conference Player of the Week for games played Monday Feb. 27 through Sunday March 4.
Rose averaged 28.8 points, 7.5 assists and 1.75 steals. He tallied 30-plus points twice with a high of 35 with eight assists and four rebounds in a 96-91 win over the 76ers on Sunday.
He scored 32 points, with nine assists and three steals in a 99-95 win over the Hornets Feb. 28 and 29 points and four assists in a 96-89 win over the Spurs Thursday.
Other nominees for the Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Week were Atlanta’s Josh Smith, Boston’s Kevin Garnett and Rajon Rondo.
It seems we have one more player in the MVP race..haha
