Throw the bag at Bienemy
I agree Bienemy needs a look. He needed to distinguish himself from KC and his decision to try and do that at Washington with Sam Howell was questionable.

Would have liked to see him go somewhere with a decent QB and put together a real offensive system. If he fails in Washington he may be seen as Matt Nagy 2.0

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Bears
Bieniemy has been around the league awhile and knows what to do with quarterbacks. I'd be more confident in him grooming Williams (or even if we stick with Fields, doubtful) than someone like Dan Quinn or Leslie Frazier. He deserves an opportunity.

Ben Johnson would be a interesting option.

Two things:

First, I would be considered a HC candidate with all of the defensive talent on the Philly team and I am sure that I should not be. It is almost like the Gase situation in Denver. He had Peyton Manning which made him look like a genius. What is Desai going to do when he doesn't have a stampede of talent available on every snap to keep replace more talent? The Bears are devoid of talent on defense ... and offense. Finally, even if Desai is a great defensive coordinator, what makes him a successful HC with zero experience?

Secondly, the Bears must, MUST, bring in an offensive genius to make sure Caleb Williams is a success. That means the GM must use the majority of his draft capital on fortifying the offensive line and adding weapons to make Caleb's life easier because he will start his career in a bunch of shootouts because the defense will be the runt of the family table, only taking scraps off the draft table, later round picks and UDFAs

Depends on what we are doing after the season, but in no way do I want a defensive head coach. So no thanks to Desai. Would have loved to keep him around all these years with a new offensive minded head coach but that was to simple. Instead they changed the scheme to a worse one and wasted resources to do it.

Without nostalgia this organization would cease to be relevant.

Hard pass on vegan chicken parm. His battered secondary has one of the best DL in football.

Bill O’Brien pls
