The Shawshank Thread spawned this so, if you were stranded on a deserted island with a tv and blu ray player...what are the three movies you would want with you? This isn't a ranking of the best movies of all time, but more your favorite movies that you can watch over and over again.

If I was stranded on a desert island I'd have to take three porn movies.

If we are talking real movies I'd take Goodfellas, Independence Day, and Star Wars. All have endless replay value. I love Shawshank but a prison movie while trapped on an island probably would be a bad idea.

I almost thought of doing the godfather combined as well....

1) Fight Club

2) Mall rats

3) The Departed

It was tough leaving the Godfather and The Dark Knight out of this list, but in the movies above there isn't a single scene I or portion of the movie i don't care to watch would flip when it comes up.
