There aren't 12 players who deserve all star status in the East. The West is so much more stacked. If I was picking 24 deserving all-stars it'd probably be a 14/10 split.

I want to see Kevin Love out there this year. He's playing some good ball. The kid can't help he's on a lousy team.

Agreed. I think Love, Curry & Griffin are three guys who will probably miss due to their team's record but deserve consideration.

Deserve consideration? He's leading the league in rebounding at 15 a game - more than 3 more than Dwight Howard and Noah.

Jayson Williams made the All-Star team when he was just averaging like 11 points and 12 rebounds...Love has to make it.

Many years ago Jeff Van Gundy had this insane theory where the only All-Stars would come from teams above .500.

Kevin Love can't help he's on a bad team. If you're playing like a star you should be out there. There are usually at least 4 or 5 guys who are chosen to be All-Stars but who would rather stay home, I'm sure Love will be chosen.

Jeff Van Gundy is an idiot.

I know that in 4 years, Love and Griffin will rule the NBA, barring injuries. It will change from a guard league to a big man league (again), and some people we don't even know the names of right now will be "big" commodities (pun intended)...Love and Griffin are already undeniably talented, might as well get 'em in the ASG now.
