Doesn't bother me as long as it's not affecting him in prep the next day.

You really shouldn't be partying late the night before a game, but two days before? He's 21 years old. Who cares?

He has 3 TDs and 11 INTs with a 52% Completion percentage and his team is 0-7. Maybe he should spend less time at a bar and more time practicing/studying film. I mean it is what it is and I certainly did stupid shit when I was 21, but I'm also not an NFL QB being paid a shit ton of money. He has 6 months out of the year where he is in season and should act like it. It's unprofessional and I'm glad he isn't on the Bears.

He's a rookie for the Browns. Yea, he blows. And the Browns blow. Water is wet. Sounds like a pretty good reason to drink, TBH.

On a Friday night?

When I say he's "21 years old", I mean that 21 years old like to party, not that they do stupid shit(which, yeah, is also true, can personally confirm). The dude can have a life outside of football, I think that's ok, as long as it's not detrimental to his game or other people.

This is a different issue if he's partying every night, or before a game. Or other shit, like Ray Rice/Adrian Peterson/Pacman Jones/insert_"professional"_player_here.

A professional athlete, one who is a potential franchise QB, does not need to be out clubbing at 1 AM two days before a game period. If it's a bye week, sure. Hell if he's in a Mark Sanchez type roll, fine. But your starter and leader of the team? Also, are you that dense to think that this is the first time he has done this? It is probably a reoccurring theme that has been happening for weeks. It's really not that difficult to refrain from this type of behavior during the season and if you can't refrain yourself from it then you don't really give a shit about your team or development. Again, glad he isn't on the Bears.

If it's an issue or if Jackson wants to handle the team differently, he can do so, and I wouldn't blame him. Instilling and fostering discipline is obviously important, but coaches aren't babysitters either.

Do you know what his "partying" schedule is? You can say he's been doing this for a while or does this during the week. But do we actually know?

No I don't know his partying schedule, but someone once told me 21 year olds like to party.

It's funny though, there hasn't been any other reports of NFL Rookies going out and boozing it up 2 days before game day. It's fine though, 21 year olds like to party. NBD.

You're not wrong. I wouldn't be surprised if this isn't the only time he's gone out. But we don't know. If it is legitimately affecting his ability to practice and play, then that seems like more of a problem to me.

That doesn't mean it's an issue.

Like I said, Coach Jackson can do what he wants. I don't really think its a problem if he is focused, on time, etc. on Saturday, and especially on Sunday. But I am not the coach of the Browns.

Kizer simply sucks. No amount of booze is going to make him an NFL QB

Kizer needs playmakers he has no body to throw or hand the ball too. And the defense is hurt so to say Kizer is Clevelands problem is asinine. He played well enough to win today to bad his team didn't
