Look at our upcoming schedule

3 at home against the Royals.

3 at home against the Twins.

No reason we cant have 5 wins or a sweep right there.

Then 4 at home against the Tigers. If were in first, all the Sox gotta do is at least win 2 to be right where they started before the series.

Then 3 at Twins and 3 at Royals.

I think the Sox got this!!!

I like the part where you've conceded the sweep when only down 3 runs against Valverde

Detroit has Cleveland, Los Angeles (AL), Chicago (AL), Cleveland, Oakland, Minnesota, Kansas City, Minnesota, Kansas City (back-to-back sets of Minnesota and KC series, not a type-o haha)

I can see the Angels, Sox and Oakland being tough.

The Sox pitching isn't strong or experienced enough to make a serious dent in the playoffs, they are worn out and it shows, so
the hitters have to carry this team the rest of the way, and if they continue to hit like shit, it's over. Getting swept by KC and the Tigers, really showed
how "tired" this club is. They need to go on an adrenaline run ala the Cards last year. They weren't supposed to be anywhere but the cellar this year, so the team has been a nice surprise despite Ventura's rookie mistakes with the pitching staff (maybe Coop's influence too) so the players shouldn't be let to feel too down on themselves and they should be TOLD that after all, NOBODY thought they were any good anyways..The logic here is getting them into the underdog mentality, everyone thinks they suck blah blah, and maybe that will put the chip back on their shoulders and go out and PROVE everyone wrong like they did coming out of the gate.. BTW I liked Sales reaction to giving up that 3 run bomb..he was soo pissed at himself, he still has the desire, just too tired.
We needed another guy like the Buehrle of old on this team...

Its all about health at this point.

We need the sox to not have any issues in the lineup. Dunn had an oblique issue since WED and it never got better, de aza is back and is geatly missed. konerko is either still having issues with his body and or it is just a personal slump, he needs to snap out of it.

Mark Gonzo mentioned that there was no way Rios last night would have batted in the 3 hole the way he has been declining,he was 0-for the series. When we have the normal lineup we are usually ok....just have to avoid RISP when beckham is at the plate.
