Klopas is denying today's outlandish rumor as well.

“If you’re telling me that I would want Didier Drogba on my team, I’d say that’s accurate,” Klopas said on a conference call with reporters. “But if you’re talking about whatever it is in that story, it’s inaccurate.”

Klopas praised Drogba as a player, but said that signing the star forward is an unrealistic proposition for Chicago.

“It’s just newspapers putting stuff out there,” he said. “I’m focused on our team now. Would I want a player like Drogba on my team? Yeah. I would want [Lionel] Messi also. I guess those are on the Christmas list.”

Funny story, we were at dinner and drinks in New Orleans with Frank and he was joking that the reporters took it out of context and conveniently left out his sarcastic "hey, we'd like to sign messi too".....so I put zero stock in the Drogba talk.
