Different idea for OC

Now that the Bears have a good young offensive mind at HC, the question becomes who do you pair with him to make the offense as strong as possible. While Nagy has called plays and desires to do that for the Bears, he’s never designed an offense from scratch.
What I’d like to see them do is pair him with a veteran coach who can help fill in the gaps in knowledge he may have. Someone who isn’t looking for the next job or wanting to make a power play.
One name that popped in my head was Kevin Gilbride, I’m sure there are others that would fit that concept.

Nagy is from the Andy Reid Tree so someone with Bill Walsh O# Experience..

Someone brought up Childress on the radio but sounds like he’s going to retire. Maybe as a consultant of some sort.

Nagy is going to be calling plays for at least for the first year. Any potential OC would have to accept that they won’t be doing that.
