I think it's a good list. Hamels certainly isn't an ace. Oswalt probably isn't either. Cahill and Anderson are probably better than those two now. Not sure if I would put Hanson up there either.

Liriano shouldn't be on the borderline either. Greinke is maybe an ace.

using the term "ace" is very vague. Way too many Variables that come into play when we talk about aces. one major factor being the team that player(s) represents. You could have player X be an "ace" on the Dbacks but that same guy is a 2 or even a 3 on a strong starting staff like perhaps the phillies. They should just compile the list to most dominant SP's, not ace(s).

Strasburg is not an Ace...hasnt proven anything yet. I also think Chris Carpenter with STL can be an ace. Also have to add Jered Weaver now.
