You can't be fucking serious? Patrick Mannelly has the same chance of getting into the Baseball Hall of Fame or Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as he does getting into the NFL Hall of Fame.

Brian Urlacher needs a couple more pro bowl caliber seasons to get a place in Canton. Right how he is the only person worth mentioning outside of Richard Dent who should be in the Hall of Fame.

Urlacher possibly and I think a case could be made for Hester if he gets back to his 2005-07 form and sustains it for a few seasons.

Agreed with the above. Although I think Mannelly may have a case as far as long snapping goes. It's apart of the NFL after all. The hall of fame includes all facets of the game....it's not the NFL Hall of Fame minus Longsnappers.

I'd say Urlacher and possibly Peppers.

Urlacher has the only chance.

If Steve Tasker isn't in the HOF Patrick Mannely has no shot.

None.

I wish they'd add a special teamer section the the HOF. I don't know if you can give it the same prestige as the rest of the Hall, but I think they should be getting some kind of recognition. Steve Tasker was incredible.

Ehh..

Maybe.

After a few ballots at best.

You don't see too many HOF DE's with a 2 sack season in their prime...that wasn't injury induced

Am I seriously the only person who is going to mention Richard Dent?

The guy was not only a great pass rusher but played the run as well as anyone during his time from the defensive end position.

I thought this was restricted to current players, but you are absolutely right.

I've heard the biggest knock on Dent is that he tended to take plays off and that's the reason he's not in the HOF.

Going off former players, I think Jay Hilgenberg should be considered for the Hall.
