My question would be; would we want Melo to join the Bulls big 3 of Rose, Boozer and Noah. And yes I said Noah...... My answer is an emphatic No!! I have lived in Denver for years and have had the opportunity of watching Melo with the Nuggets. Although I would agree that he has a lot to offer on the offensive end of the court, Melo's achilles has been his defense which has given Nuggets coach George Karl fits and is totally contradictory to Thibs winning philosphy.
There is also chemistry.....After watching the Bulls have their first winning "Circus Trip" in over 10 seasons which included a couple of come from behind wins, it is obvious that the Bulls are playing at a level that we have not seen for a long time. I see a different tenacity in their play, Noah and Gibson have improved their game and Deng appears to finally be coming into his own comfort level. The new additions of Korver, Brewer and Watson has been good fits thus far. As good as they look now, they will be even better with the return of Boozer who should make his Bulls debut next week.
No the Bulls don't need Melo.....They are winners just the way they are.

I do think they need him. Dengs D is good but he's not a lock down defender. We need a guy who will hit shots when hes open or create his own. Rose is handling too much of the workload and the guys he gets the ball to just arent doing their job. Im not sure how this team will look a couple months down the line, if fatigue has finally taken over their bodies. Your mental state will only get you so far.

Not that bad, but why not. If we get him we'll have to give up Noah and Deng and I don't know if the Bulls fans are ready for that at all. I'll give a couple reasons why..

Deng: He helps a lot of people in Chicago, and he's a good person in general and a good guy for us to have. He's also a proven scorer and he's one of the best Small forwards in the league. He's not flawless though

Noah: Why would we give him up? I mean everybody in Chicago knows that Noah gives 100% percent each night and tries hard to get our ball club a victory. He pulls boards as we all know, but this year he developed a good post presence. (His scoring is better) Both him and Deng are allstars.

We do not need Melo <---- besides not to trade anyone for him at least, I love the Chemistry between the Bulls now since Jordan retired, and they enjoy to play and put on a great game for us right now to get better and better! That's what I love to watch from them their creativity to get better and better throughout the games they play. I believe Thibs is an expert on defensive side I notice that he is learning how his Bulls roster are developing throughout this season, so he can create more plays I think this coach is getting better and better will probably be better than Phil Jackson have faith on this coach, and if he could get his team to a winning streak this year he is definitely aiming for the championship I just hope he comes true to us to use his knowledge to this roster!

If you can get Melo and keep Rose, Noah and Boozer you do it!

Its different from the Miami big 3. Rose doesn't need to be a scorer to be good. Joakim isn't really a scorer. He would compliment Boozer's post game very well.
