I think Z has changed a little. He's not showing emotions as much if at all.

Like yesterday, Z was throwing strikes and the ump never game him shit. And, from what I've saw, he was not talking to himself or showing emotions, which was nice.

How about the Cubs let him be a starting pitcher all season next year? Jerking him around from role to role was quite the bullshit move.

Even before Brenly said anything lastnight about Z coming over the top more I had noticed the same thing. Z has total control over his future since he has the no trade clause. He obvioulsy wasn't leading the team in the right direction and nobody knows besdies him if he has turned the corner. Would be nice t see grow a bit, keep his mouth shut and keep pitching like he has.

How does he have total control over his future? He can decide the team, but not the role in which he is placed.

Isn't that pretty much control over his future captain? He can say he wants to stay in Chicago if presented with a trade offer or he can waive his no trade clause, isn't that kinda obvious..............captain?? I think his role on the team is no longer in question.

That's control. It's not TOTAL control. He can't control what role what ever team puts him in. Whether it be Ace, RP, or RF.
