Just offer 1 mid level spect for him and take on 3.3M...that could be good. They don't want Manny anymore and would want to trade him. It's not even like the Sox have a good farm system so there's not much to chose from.

you really like taking shots at the sox when you can. how did the farm system work out for the cubs.....all those future stars now playing for the orioles.

Mitchell is out for the year and Gartrell isn't even a top 20 prospect with us and is having at best an average year in AAA. Our farm system is pretty weak.
