I need to have a knowledgeable person on Forscan make some changes to the software on my 2020 F150.

I never heard of Forscan.. Any help is appreciated as I would like to know a little about it before I turn my truck over to Billy Bob.

Dealers don't use Forscan

Yeah i have it for my F-150, it's a licensing agreement you have to purchase the rights to use it . I needed it when i converted my 23 gallon fuel tank to a 36 gallon.

If i remember it was only $ 10.00 for a 1 year or 6 months . Plus you need a OBD adapter to plug into your trucks diagnostic connecter. Make sure you buy the right one.

And i forgot to say you'll need a spreadsheet for your 2020 f-150, so you can make the correct value changes.

I mean no harm by this question LOU, but for what purpose do you need a 36 gallon tank?

I wanted a bigger fuel tank because I converted my truck over to operate on e-85. You burn roughly 30% more fuel on E-85. I needed the higher octane associated with e-85. I needed the FORScan to set the ( DTE ) distance to empty, that was programmed in my smaller fuel tank.

What are you trying to do to your truck?

1...Reset the door locks so they lock when the truck is placed in gear, and open when the Truck is placed in park.

Right now. they lock at 15mph, and don't unlock until the drivers door is opened

2...Remove the double horn honk when exiting a running truck

3..Remove the horn honk when hitting the door lock on the FOB twice

According to the dealer, all 3 of those are set at the factory and they can't be altered without Forscan

I have a 36 gallon tank in mine.. It's really nice not having to fill up as often, but when ya do, you break the bank.

What state do you live in?..
