Less dumbasses. I have no problem with it. I think it just means fans are starting to get smarter and won't tolerate losing.

Economy is still bad. People just don't have the money like years ago and prices have gone up too.

Everything at the ballpark costs too much. Take a family of 4 and it costs atleast $300.

It some markets there is but thats generally because the team is a perennial loser.

For the regular season I think anything above 60% is acceptable... Quite a bit to ask for people to shell out $50, or more, 81-times a season right now in this economy.

Which would be fine once or twice a year, depending on income of course.

That's because people are stupid. They buy tickets from the Cubs and not from other people, which is much cheaper. They eat ballpark food, which will good, isn't really that special. Get it a block away for 1/4 the cost. People park super close to the ballpark. Why? They can walk. I could take a family of 4 to a game for like $100, including food, parking, good seat, etc.

Hows about if you are a Sox fan. Good luck finding food around that ball park and I wouldn't park anywhere outside of the park.

Ummm... well, this is a Cubs forum. But, you can still ride the train. It's cheaper than paying for *some* parking.

Okay, well it is a MLB problem. Look outside the bubble that is the Cubs. It's happening nationwide.

You are the one who doesn't understand that I'm not saying that it isn't a problem for us. I was just saying that you don't have to be susceptible to the high prices. There are alternatives.
