I think some of it has to do with how chicks dig the long ball. It's starting to become a pitchers game. When stupid chicks don't come, that's gonna hurt attendance.

It some markets there is but thats generally because the team is a perennial loser.
For the regular season I think anything above 60% is acceptable... Quite a bit to ask for people to shell out $50, or more, 81-times a season right now in this economy.

That's because people are stupid. They buy tickets from the Cubs and not from other people, which is much cheaper. They eat ballpark food, which will good, isn't really that special. Get it a block away for 1/4 the cost. People park super close to the ballpark. Why? They can walk. I could take a family of 4 to a game for like $100, including food, parking, good seat, etc.
