I always think this can happen to my BoerBoel. Some prick open up the car door and dog hops in. BoerBoel is a Mastiff. Just a loving lick you to death dog.
He is chipped but i wonder what extremes someone might go to find the chip.

Mine would likely bark like crazy, unless the person gave her a treat. Then she would hop in the car and expect belly rubs. She sounds scary, but is 100% sweet. I'd be devestated if someone stole her.

I know I would, but probably a low percentage. Most people suck. It sounded like the owner paid the guy back out of his own pocket, for what he spent on the dog. Which was also the right thing to do in my opinion.
