The police arrested 28 year old Amanda Newberry of Shallow Glenn, Missouri 20 minutes after the altercation on assault and destruction of property charges. During the sobriety test, police found Newberry suffering from "severe McNugget withdrawal", and immediately sent her to the hospital to be placed on suicide watch.
Greg Davis, the store manager of the McDonald's on 64th and Asher Rd said, "This has been a growing problem for us, ever since we bought those deep fryers from a police auction in June." To where the police replied,"We had a disclaimer before the auction stating all of the equipment was confiscated in a major methamphetamine bust, and anything auctioned should not be used to prepare any type of consumable product."
