hanging out at the Coq d'Or downstairs has been a tradition in my family for like 3 generations. Last time I went there, I felt like I was at a bar at Denny's, if Denny's had bars.

There was a guy that made suits and shirts in the Drake...Mayor Daley used to get his suits and shirts made from him.."House of Duro"..I swear the guy was an outfit guy, he looked the part at any rate. Thick Italian accent etc. He has long since passed away though

I am flying to Chicago for a wedding reception at the Drake 9/18. Should I book a room there or somewhere else?

Also going to Bears home opener next day!

It is fine but old. Have stayed there a few times but it has been a long time.
