My favorite teams
Have one? What is it? For me probably a GTR.
The gray with burgundy interior is stunning. I had that exact combo on a JaguarI'm not really a car dude, but since I was a kid I've always had a soft spot for:
I also like these:
Anything that helps bring down big oil.
Is that a Kharmann Ghia? Hard to tell definitively on my phone.
My dream car would be heavily modified. Not even a restomod, because a restomod is a hybrid of restoration and modernization. This would be ground-up custom aside from signature looks.
Something like this.
C1 mkII Corvette with removable hardtop. Except in midnight blue with a very mild black metal flake that is only noticeable up close and a candycoat. White second tone for the flare vent contours. All chrome is replaced with polished/coated 7075 aluminum for weight, strength, corrosion resistance, and durability.
Graphene unibody conversion of a 58/59 C2 Corvette with a partial 4130 chrome-moly reinforced subframe based on a number of modern retro-fit chassis designs and a 1.5" shortened vehicle length at the fender. Modified and tuned for fuel economy MB 2.1l bluetec diesel(sacrilegious, but I'm not a purist, so IDGAF) mated to a modified 6speed manual. Modern handling, modern features like power steering, LED lights, 4 wheel disc carbon ceramic brakes, dual master cylinder, power windows, modern mechanical HVAC. Rebuilt dash, cockpit and seats. 2way LSD.
Other than using grapheme, the rest is realistic. An 1900lb, 180hp/350lb-ft car that seats 2 people comfortably, and is capable of 30mpg city/50mpg hwy. Using graphene and titanium where practical and reliable, that would drop the weight(in theory) 25%. And not to mention, this would be a million-mile engine, easily.
That, ladies, is how you do it. It's a Dream Car... so dream something up.
Yeah, the second one pictured is a Karmann Ghia.
