We will be driving through there on Thursday, and looking at mapquest it looks like Indy is a cluster-****. We'll be coming down 65 and then either staying on that or getting on 74 south.

Is that a question or comment? I have driven 65 from south of Indy (Columbus) to Chicago many times and as recently as about 4 months ago. It isn't that bad.

Sorry, I didn't really word that correctly. I'm looking for alternates around it. We will probably be going through around rush hour and was hoping to sneak around it if it's back up.

Mapquest.... Tater are you still using an AOL email address too?

Yes, on my 14.4k modem.

Drove from Cincinnati to Chicago and back dozens of times when I lived there. What is your concern, specifically?

I've never driven through there before, and I am looking for an alternate around it in case it's really backed-up when we go through. It will probably be around rush hour.
If it doesn't get bad there like Chicago, then great!

I've never been in a bad traffic jam there. If you're staying on 65 south of Indy, it's about the same distance to stay on 65 through downtown or to take 465 ( I think the sign will say 465 South at the exit, heading around the western side of the city) around. Second option might be preferable at rush hour but I've never had a problem in downtown Indy at any time.

Indy is NOT Chicago as far as traffic. It will be crowded but you can either take 65 through the city or 465 around it as dennehy mentioned.

I went to a place called the Classy Chassy one time in Indy. Man, that was the worst strip club I've ever been too. I recommend going just for the experience. They had like a little concessionaire stand set up that you could buy hot dogs, popcorn and nachos from lmao. Like I'm not at a Little League baseball game, I want some titties in my face. The girls were hideous.

Ha, the famous Classy Chassy..... Due to licensing requirements, strip clubs have to serve some sort of food. Some just have a microwave and hot pockets or frozen pizzas. That stand is likely just there for licensing reasons thus the little league baseball menu! Not one of Indy's better establishments of that kind.

I gotta think it would be more odd to go into a Strip Club with an Executive Chef serving amazing meals and then a bunch of nasty strippers dancing to Reo Speedwagon... at least little league food fits the level of the establishment.

I had no idea that was a requirement lmao. I remember my buddy went and got a hot dog and I about lost my shit. It looked like it had been on the roller for 14 hours.

That sounds like an amazing business opportunity. I would love to eat a nice steak while watching a dancer. Obviously the girls would have to be 10s, but sounds awesome.

Used to be a place in Denver that was a pretty good steakhouse combo high-end strip club. Went to a bachelor party there a long time ago and it was very, very nice.

honestly think that's the only way you'd have an executive chef serving steaks.

I just wish 65 was 3 lanes from NW Indiana to Indy. Those fuckholes have no concept that the left lane is used for passing.
