Went to the birthday party for my Grandson and my cop son in law broke out his drone. Fucking thing can go 400ft high and 4 miles away. Has great video and if you have a problem it goes into hover mode. When it gets out of range it goes into come back home mode. His drone not a cop drone.

Drones are cool as hell, but this will end up being a case of law not keeping up with technology. From poaching to terrorism, the things they can be used for is pretty much unlimited. google some racing drones video to see some real fun.......

That was a big topic last season during football. All HS teams are obviously allowed to film games, but there were questions regarding use of drones. Ultimately, it was decided that teams are allowed to use it, but if the other team protested (think I have that right, haven't reviewed my notes yet) it had to go. Of course, if you were a team like Elk Grove Village, you weren't allowed to do it because of how close you were to O'hare.

Where we live for soccer only 1st, 2nd, 3rd place get trophies. In basketball only 1st amd 2nd. Its awesome, I have had kids ask if they get a trophy. I always say only if you earn it, and win.

Normally they swap vidoes anyways in HS, but using drones is not a bad idea imo. I use it on my practices, and if my buddy veers off and watches another team practice its a win win.

I have only been around a few drones, but does anyone else think they are annoying as ****?? The sound of them is like a constant swarm of mosquitoes that you cannot escape.
