According to Doug, we could probably trade Bogans and a 2nd for Ben Gordon and Charlie V., who we could then package w/ Korver and a 1st for Howard, Redick and a 2nd, and we could then package Redick and Brewer and Luol and our other first for Wade and lbj, and then we'd pull Shaq out of retirement and trade him for 5 1st round picks and cash.

championship.

Read the article, good one too. I have to say i dont see the Bulls losing depth in this department. Yes giving up Deng and Korver would be huge but they get Turk in return plus they also would probably start Brewer at small forward. Hes big enough and his arm length is always on display with his steals. Bulls can still sign someone off the free agent market such is JRich, JR smith, heck even Rip Hamilton. Rip wont command a huge contract since hes on the wrong side of 30 but hes still a threat. on the bench u would have Omer, Turk, watson, and the coaching staff can look to fill out the rest. I think this can be done but Howard wants to go to a Big Market. If the Bulls have this shot then they better take it.

A non-story to me, he's gonna sign after next season, to get the most money from the new CBA.

Bulls still have to pay ROSE. Unless they take Deng,Booze and Noah theres no way they can afford Howard.

At least 2 of the 3 would be traded to Orlando.

They can go over the cap as long as the trade falls into the salary rules

That's before the new CBA, which is why I bet Orlando or anyone for that matter is very reluctant to make a blockbuster trade before a new CBA is signed. The NBA and the owners are going to fight hard for that hard cap rules. The players will fight the most not to have a hard cap. So that's why I have maintained a lockout is inevitable.

Apparently some progress was made the other day, but not an acceptance of a hard salary cap.

Ya that's what I forgot to add, pending the new CBA. Hell there's even a chance of a franchise tag they'd be moronic to trade him before thew CBA.

I dont think there will be a hard cap but if there is we will get to drop Boozers deal!

I like this part!

A hard cap would limit their ability to fill out a roster around LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh -- or in an extreme case, even force them to trade one of their Big Three.

"That's nothing I want to focus on mentally at this time of the year," Wade said. "I'll have more comments on that when the season is over."
