Easiest way to get Blackhawk games?

Hello,

I've never been a big hockey fan, but anytime I watch a game I enjoy it. I'd like to make a more conceited effort this year to watch more Blackhawk games this year. What is the easiest and best way to watch games? What channel to they usually play on? I live in Iowa if that makes a difference.

I realize I can probably steam them online if I want, but the quality usually sucks in my experience. TIA!

NBCSN....I have Sling on a Roku and get almost all the games...been a couple I've missed on a network Sling doesn't carry, but there was always a link in the game day thread (IGT here) on the Hawks message boards posted by one of two dedicated overseas fans, one in Slovakia, and a Canadian gentleman living in Thailand.

That said, I don't know what NBCSN fees you'd get in Iowa...

i live in asia and this is the one i always use. (good for mlb, nba, nfl, nhl)
seems pretty safe to me compared to others i used to use.

it normally automatically shows the home teams broadcast but if your team is the away team just click on the "away feed". if you've got good internet the picture might not be HD but it'll be very good. i usually lower the bps rate (bottom of screen) to 1450 bps from 6600 bps because internet here's a tad slow.

Out here in the PacNW, the easiest is by far NHL.tv for for the technologically declined, Center Ice. Expensive as hell though and unless you have a premium package that gets you NHLN and NBCS/OLN/Vs/Whatever TheSmegThey'reCallingThemselvesThisWeek you'll be wanting for the nationally televised games because of the racketeering known as "Blackout Rules".

There are some streams you can pick up from the internet as well of greymarket/dubious legality. It's been a number of years since I went that route so any sites I knew of probably closed down and re-opened under a new name.
