My prediction is, bulls get wade, lebron stays, bosh goes to new York, and they retain lee and macgrady. So we have Cleveland 1seed, bulls2, magic3, knicks4. Boston would flounder for a few years, same w/ Charlotte, Milwaukee. it's also conditional on where boozer, stoudemire, Johnson, ***, and john wall go. al Jefferson could be headed east too. Think about some of those playoff series. Thoughts?

Welcome to the boards, airjordan. Always nice to have some fresh meat to tear to shreds. Hehe.

Interesting 1-4 but I honestly don't see the Knicks getting Bosh or any of the big 3 for that matter. My gut tells me they get Joe Johnson & re-sign David Lee. Will that make them a 4 seed? I doubt it. I feel Lebron will stay, ditto for Wade, who will probably be teamed with Stat or Boozer. But I feel the Bulls have the best shot at getting any of the Big 3, so long as Foreman is not a worse pitch man than Krause. I'd love to have Lebron but I think our best chance & best fit without him is Bosh.

If I had to throw a hypothetical ranking out there it'd be 1. Cleveland, 2. Orlando, 3. Chicago, 4. Miami, 5. Boston, 6. New York, 7. Atlanta, 8. Charlotte but it's anybody's guess at this point.

Joe Johnson-to NEW YORK
Ray Allen-to CHICAGO (low money S&T deal)
Amare Stoudamire-to MIAMI
LeBron James-stays in cleveland
Dwayne Wade-stays in miami
Chris Bosh-to CHICAGO
Dirk Nowitzki-stays in dallas
Josh Howard-to MINNESOTA
Carlos Boozer-to NEW JERSEY
David Lee-stays in ny
Rudy ***-pried away by NEW JERSEY

so after the FA period there's
CHI-rose, allen, bosh
MIA-wade, amare
NYC-johnson, lee
NJN-harris, ***, boozer, lopez

1. chicago
2. orlando
3. cleveland
4. new jersey
5. miami
6. boston
7. new york
8. charlotte

think about it. imagine the bulls not only got their scoring big man, but signed a seasoned veteran like ray allen to be derrick rose's wingman! i don't think it would take that much to get him, i'm liking hinrich for ray allen at ~9 mil. then it's on to our twelve straight championships!

I like the idea, NJ getting 2 guys won't happen unless they get the no. 1 pick in which case they could get a second tier FA and s&t player X for Devin Harris say they get Wall, Rudy ***, and D-Lee moves over to Jersey.
G-Wall G-Lee F-*** F-Lee C-Lopez, good lineup.

I think wade is done in Mia, they have wasted his last 3 prime years.
If we got Bosh and Allen I highly doubt we'd be a number 1 seed. I dont want 37 year old allen. I wanted prime Ray Allen (Kevin Martin) thats not happening anymore. I think we just need to draft well and keep on taking chances. W/ a mid-rd. pick we should go after a shooting/scoring 2 guard. Xavier Henry, Willie Warren, Eliot Williams.

Should be a fun offseason boys.

Actually, I partly agree. This is how I see it going.

Joe Johnson-to CHICAGO (Sign and trade - Hinrich)
Amare Stoudamire-to NEW YORK
LeBron James-stays in cleveland
Dwayne Wade-stays in Miami
Chris Bosh-to CHICAGO
Dirk Nowitzki-stays in dallas
Rudy *** stays-in MINNESOTA
Carlos Boozer-to MIAMI
David Lee-to SACRAMENTO or NEW JERSEY
Josh Howard-to NEW JERSEY

So Bulls will sign Bosh outright and then sign and trade for Joe Johnson by sending Hinrich to Hawks.

Bulls lineup next year:

Derrick Rose
Joe Johnson
Luol Deng
Chris Bosh
Joakim Noah

Eastern Conference Standings (2010-11)

1 - Chicago Bulls (62 wins)
2 - Miami Heat (60 wins)
3 - Cleveland Cavs (58 wins)
4 - Orlando Magic (55 wins)
5 - Boston Celtics (52 wins)
6 - New York Knicks (48 wins)
7 - New Jersey Nets (44 wins)
8 - Crapshoot. (41 wins)

I also see East taking over West next year. I can see atleast, if not 3 60-win teams in the East with the next 2 or 3 with 50 wins.

that seems optimistic. a team with 2 pgs, wants another pg/sg?

joe johnson isnt going anywhere.

bosh might leave, but i think we're stuck with hinrich for 2 years.

i see :

rose,
wade
lebron
bosh
howard

miami does a sign trade for hinrich
cleveland does a sign trade for lebron
bosh signs as a free agent
orlando decides to dump howard's salary for cap relief and noah.

also we trade pargo and a first rounder for kobe. we need him to come off the bench at 1 2 and 3.

See I think Miami will be dumb enoughto give Amare the max. They're not gonn end up with boozer, I don't think Wade stays if that's the best they can do.

I feel calling such a move is "dumb" is taking it out of context. If you're Miami, and getting Amare is the difference between keeping or losing Wade, don't you pony up a max for Amare?

Bulls get Bosh and Joe Johnson, Wade stays in Mia because they sign Boozer or Stat. LBJ stays put and its a battle at the top of the east between those 3 teams.

if they get amare, i'd see wade staying.

they're still weak at center and sf. i dont see them being a contender. The team will be as good as wade is.
