IDK, I think this is almost a positive for the Flyguys. We need a lengthy series. Even though we're mixed age, by the Cup Finals I think we'll see more of van Riemsdyk, Carbomb, Giroux and the younger guys. We were terrible after rest against the Bruins, but once we built some momentum again and got back out there, we won 6 straight.

I don't see this hindering much in the Flyers. Unlike the Pens, Flyers have the capability to be physical. They showed it by wearing down the Canadians in Games 1 and 2. Saturday I would put money down that it will be a different game. The fans got their revenge tonight on the Flyers.

Speculation continues to build that Flyer forward Ian Laperriere could return for Game 4. He has been out since Game 5 of Round 1, suffering from a brain contusion. He has been skating for the past 8 days and was cleared for contact on Monday. Friday, he skated with the checking line -- Darroll Powe and Blair Betts -- in practice. Jeff Carter, coming back from a broken foot, is skating, but won’t play Saturday.

Can't believe Carter is skating again and Lappy is already back and cleared to play. Hopefully Lappy can step in for game 4.
