Just thought I'd share that hahahaha.

doesnt surprise me at all....first of all population west of that line is quite a bit smaller than the other side so you have a larger sample size...you have most of the major cities and hubs for basketball talent in east(Philly,NY,Houston,Atlanta) not to mentions some other states that are hotbeds for recruiting(Indiana,Ohio,Florida,North Carolina)...

only state that produces even remotely close to the talent in the eastern states is california....

I was gonna say [but fogot to] that if you push the line all the way to chicago, most of those players will still be on the right side of the line. Only about 6 of them would then end up on the left side... That's because I knew people would mention the population thing.. I just forgot to mention it haha.

But it's completely different for football. You can put the line in the same place, and football talent is more spread out.

Which is why I find this kind of interesting... Almost all of the great basketball players are closer to the eastern part of the country.

Yeah, really not that surprising as the major populations centers, except for LA are all located on the right side of the U.S.
