My small collection of autographed photos - it all started with a Belfour. Nice choice, now all they need to do some day is induct Steve Larmer, and things will be right in the world.

Ditto. I just loved Larmer's game. The guy couldve been a baseball player with that great handeye cordination....the absolute best Ive ever seen at doing one-timers. Of course, having Savard and Secord as linemates didnt hurt either.

I will tell you what, I feel old based off of the comments (and the lack of comments) in this thread.

Eddie should be getting pages of praise. Yet, we are still on page 1.

Pretty sad, or rather, just a ton of young Hawks fans on this board.

x2.

not too many people here remember him or have seen him play. I posted the video of the game I went to when troy murray scored in OT against the leafs and I believe 90% of the posters were not even born yet. :)

That's so sad :(

One part because the Hawks sucked for such a long time, but another part because the bandwagon is full.

Is that really the bulk of these posters here? I wasn't aware to even think that. Belfour was one of the big reasons I got into hockey. I was so distraught with the Hawks after him.. can't say I loved the following netminders afterward like some others until lately.

Loved him, pained me to see him get it in Dallas after he felt so bad for failing to be top notch in the finals in Chicago.

Eddie was fantastic goaltender and a little badass, too. It was really something that he was our workhorse and Hasek was backing him up. 2 HOFers and, if I remember correctly, it was his free agency (pending doom during the Bill Wirtz era) that pushed Hasek out and eventually led to Eddie's departure.

I actually met Eddie in the early 90s. He seemed like such a dope; I was unimpressed.

Eddie is a drunk/dry drunk who has a giant ego, ala Bobby Hull. He was never a very likeable person off-the-ice :)

Congrats to Eddie The Eagle. It was you, Roenick, Chelios, and Graham who created a young hockey fan in Chicago who is still a die-hard Hawks fan to this day.

Thanks for the memories. Was sorry to see you leave but, I'm glad your finally coming home....to the HOF.

Yup....can still remember listening to the Stanley Cup Finals games against the Penguins on my walkman in high school.

Still hate the Pens to this day.
