Shame I never got to see him in a Hawks uniform...once I got into hockey, he wasnt in Chi-Town
I will tell you what, I feel old based off of the comments (and the lack of comments) in this thread.
Eddie should be getting pages of praise. Yet, we are still on page 1.
Pretty sad, or rather, just a ton of young Hawks fans on this board.
x2.
not too many people here remember him or have seen him play. I posted the video of the game I went to when troy murray scored in OT against the leafs and I believe 90% of the posters were not even born yet.
Is that really the bulk of these posters here? I wasn't aware to even think that.
I actually met Eddie in the early 90s. He seemed like such a dope; I was unimpressed.
That's so sad
One part because the Hawks sucked for such a long time, but another part because the bandwagon is full.
Congrats to Eddie The Eagle. It was you, Roenick, Chelios, and Graham who created a young hockey fan in Chicago who is still a die-hard Hawks fan to this day.
Thanks for the memories. Was sorry to see you leave but, I'm glad your finally coming home....to the HOF.
those were the best of times. away games on the old "sports channel"
