At least it was a DT.

That was my first reaction. I've watched him a little and still think he would have been around in the third. meh, as long as he can hold at the point of attack I guess he will work. Just think there were better options available.

This just feels like Shea 2.0 to me right now.

Phil Emery has done an excellent job on the offensive side of the ball.

His picks on the defensive side are highly questionable.

why in the FUCK are you posting in the BEARS FORUM???

I don't think he is a 3-tech, he will play NT and hopefully do it very well.

I hate waiting all day being super excited for the draft and then feeling disappointed... I hope he pans out like Kyle Long did.

Ego Ferguson:

BOTTOM LINE Athletic, raw, developmental three-technique with clear upside, though he is inexperienced, aimless and unrefined at this stage of his development. Needs more glass in his diet and simply does not impact games the way he should. Is likely to test well and be drafted higher than his performance dictates in the hopes a defensive line coach can tap into his potential.

Hook, line, and sinker for Phil.

Ferguson has not played for the Bears.

Maybe we wait and see what he does because I think he will play heavy snaps at NT for the bears this season and will improve our run defense a lot.

I once wrote a story titles i'm not in need of an Ego... It wasn't about Ferguson.

Btw, I don't support him wRong glass.. That seems like horrible scouting advice.

Ferguson has huge physical upside and will bring size and power to the Bears DL.

He is not a boutique pick for an undersized player.

Dude on the score said he talked to a few front office people before the draft about Ferguson. He said that two of them said they would take him in the second and the others said late second or early third.

sounds like kyle longs draft portfolio last year honestly..

emery's defensive scouting and selection has been questionable all the way up to tucker honestly...
