St. Alexius has the worst ER care in Hoffman Estates. I should have went to Elk Grove Alexian Brothers or Good Sheperd.

I was in the ER yesterday for a 106 temp and I waited there for three hours when I felt like I was burning to get an ER room...

The nurses checked upon me for once every hour .... The doctor made me take a chest x-ray for pneumonia and results were dislike... I had to drive to Walgreens and get Tamiflu that cost 130 ... At midnight

I have a 103 now.

There were like 4-5 people + me. I had to drive my grandpa there a couple months ago and no one was there... We stayed there for a good 6-8 hours.

^What was here name?

Yeah, don't go to St. Alexius ER... The Nurses suck but the Doctor's are good though... I should have went to a place where the nurses & doctors were equally as good.

Any medical facility sucks. Go to the ER and apparently the so called 'professionals' dont know the meaning of Emergency. If you go for an appointment, its the only damn place that cant hold a damn schedule. And when they finally do see you, its over before it started and your charged out the ass. Not to mention half the damn time they then send you to someone else! When I severed tendons in my hand, I got sent to 3 fucking hospitals and was gone for 12hrs. Damn Kentucky and their stupid horses lol

1. No, do your research on the best medical facilities and there reports before you go to one. The Chicago land area has some of the most modern and best facilities in the world. I personally go to Central Dupage Hospital because it is the closet highest rated hospital to me. I cannot believe how many people just pick a location based on convenience, do your research before hand so in the event of an emergency you know where the best place is to go.

2. Find a good health insurance plan...
