It sounds like it's basically nitroglycerin in a gel inside the condom . If that's the case it probably works pretty well. There have been reports of people using their nitroglycerin patches (used to treat certain heart conditions such as angina) and placing them down there to get erections. It's a very potent vasodilator and has fast on and fast off properties so it would work pretty quickly when the gel is in contact and would wear off pretty quickly once it's washed off.

Don't worry Bri that would only be a problem if a lot of friction created heat. And we know that condoms aren't involved in any activities that cause friction.
