Joe Johnson gets 4 votes, okay that's just stupid.

Boozer going both up and down, he's gonna be a good addition but it's almost a guarantee he wont play the whole season. Makes sense.

Whoever voted Tracy McGrady as best newcomer on that list needs his life taken away. At least nobody voted Shaq for that side.

C-Booz both second best and worst newcomer. makes sense. as someone said already, he's a fantastic addition, but he won't play all season.

Agreed. Boozer was scaled very much reasonably where he should be. I would, of course emphasize him just a bit more on the better side. Maybe I'm being a little bias (duh)...but I see him doing better with the Bulls then his last season with the Jazz. That's just me though.

f all you booze haters

my boy booze is gonna tear it up

(nah in all seriousness he'll miss some games im almost sure of it...and his stats might go down a bit playing alongside noah...i dont see two players on the same team averaging a double double but thats jmo..but it's kind of a good thing..i mean noah+boozer starting duo in the frontcourt is tough, very good rebounding wise, defensive minded, but can also score plenty of points)

i think booze's ppg will go up but his rebounding will fall to maybe 8 or 9.

Boozer and noah will complement each other's game very well.

Both are fairly decent passing big man. With boozer being the better passer by the slightest of margins.

Agreed with AirJordan. Noah+Boozer is all you need in the starting frontcourt to contend for a Championship. They are extremely complementary of one other.

How is that guaranteed?? (I'm assuming you mean he is going to be injured for a period of time???)

Because he's injured at some point every season.

history....players with a more detailed injury history usually are more likely to get injured again...or injury prone....its not GUARANTEED he will get injured..but looking at his history...you got to think there is a good possibility something will happen and he will miss time...guess you got to hope for the best and prepare for the worst

So how does that relate to this season?

IDK, maybe we can put on our thinking caps and think about it for a bit....Hmmm. Player gets hurt for a chunk of the season year after year....It could be safe to say that it will happen this up coming season. Its called being injury prone(see Loul, Deng). Boozers a big guy who plays a bruising style under the basket, he will miss some games this season.

In 8 seasons in the NBA, he has played in 74 games or more for 5 of those. Including two seasons playing 81 games, and 78 last year. There is no doubt that playing 82 games per season, with the style of ball that he plays that he will miss a game here or there.

I think you would be hard pressed to find any 4 or 5 in the league that doesn't miss a game here or there. Now I know he has had seasons where he has missed significant amounts of time, and unless I'm reading your posts wrong I'm thinking that you guys think he will miss a significant amount of time.

I'm arguing that that is unfounded just because of his past history. Missing a game here or there, in the grand scheme of things isn't a big deal if he is able to perform at a high level for those 75-80 games.

Missing 1, 1 game is not playing the whole season. I said nothing of a larger period of time just some time and I also said, ALMOST. That's a clear misread of a post because I hardly talk in direct definitive statements because that leads to false assumptions.

Your right most 4/5's will be missing time in a season but it still brings on a level of disappointment for the team if they are gunning for top seeds/

Your original statement is Special person then. Your "point" was basically a lot of nothing. You could pick any NBA player and say that more than likely he won't play every game. Name the season where Lebron played in every game.
