Always better to fly under the radar instead of being heavily scrutinized. If we lose 1 game, we don't have much to worry about. If the Miami Heat lose a game every single news outlet will be breaking down, over-analyzing it, pointing out small details, etc. I think that will kill a players psyche.

yes, even wade said if they lose one game the media and everybody are going to be all over them. like you said it could really wear down on a player over time imo.

Eh, I don't think they're flying under the radar. It'd take something fairly incredible for us to win the east IMO.

If someone picked us to be 6th I'd say we're underrated.

well, true do that, but the one thing we could benefit from all this is that Miami will have some great expectations, if they lose one little game everybody will be all over them, they truly will have a target on their back. as for us, lets just win some games and see how it turns out.

but yeah, i dont really expect us to win the east, i have us in front of the hawks, and with the C's Heat and Magic.

I lol'd and :smh: when I saw that Orlando had more votes than Boston...

Practically ever ESPN "expert" picked the Cavs to tear through the Playoffs for the past two seasons... 'nuff said. Hell, even MAGIC JOHNSON (!!!) picked the Cavs to win it all last year. Never take their predictions seriously..

Miami is the number one team in the east. That´s for sure. The really important question is who will get the number two spot.

Bulls? Magic? Celtics? I think this is very close!

I think Miami and Orlando are clearly better. Boston is kind of a crap shoot, who knows how many of them stay healthy and how well they play, but I would guess they're probably better than us.

I can't wait for Miami to realize they don't have much depth.

Most teams go to an 8 man rotation in the playoffs:
1: LeBron - Better than any team's best player in the NBA
2: Wade - Better than any team's second best player in the NBA
3: Bosh - Better than any team's third best player in the NBA
4: Mike Miller - Probably better than half the 4th best players in the NBA
5: Udanis Haslem - Probably better than half the 5th best players in the NBA

Guys competing for 6-8 men: Ilgauskas, House, Chalmers, Magloire, Anthony, Arroyo

I'd say it's fair to say that that group is pretty solid for the 6th-8th best players on a team.

They don't have incredible depth, but they have adequate depth for sure.

Overrating Miller and Haslem much?

I still wanna see what this team looks like when the Big 3 have to take a seat.
