i just realized this but i was shocked how much more coverage there was and talk when george steinbrenner died on espn than when john wooden died

Well for one, Steinbrenner is a household name and is arguably the greatest owner of all time in sports.

im not denying steinbrenner's importance but if he deserved all the publicity over his death on ESPN then so did Wooden...who is imo one of the greatest if not the greatest coach of all time and one of the most influential sports figures ever
