I don't know if Toronto or D.C. will pony up for him either, Toronto is also after Defoes.

Toronto said they are looking into spending $24 million on DP's this year, so yes they would pony up the money.

DC United's owner is a billionaire, so I don't see that being a problem either.

As for our owner, welll he's ALL talk. He keeps saying that he will spend "Keane-money", but it's been three years since his comment and NOTHING. We keep going after players like Puppo, Big Mess and Anangono, Oh well can't wait for our next third division no name player in the July transfer window.

Either was MacDonald 4 goals and 4 assist in 2012, then he decided to eat everything during the off season. We all know how that ended. I hope that Juan works out, but with our track record I see it ended badly, like being loaned out and never seeing him again.

I wouldn't put that on him just because some other DP's were stupid.
