There also seems to be a few missing RPGs, while "The Agency" has been cancelled. But pretty solid reference list.

That is a sweet list, thanks

And it looks like PC and PS3 are going to own for this year. Goodie, goodie!

PS3 exclusive list might finally be able to shut the Xbox fanboys up.

PS3 has a strong list of exclusives. It's mainly because they're releasing a lot of their exclusive sequels in the same year, but still strong compared to all the others.

A list like this would be best served after E3 in June, but still, good find! Hopefully there's some gameplay and a release date revealed for Crytek's upcoming "blockbuster" named Kingdoms. There was a teaser trailer released last year, and there's word that E3 2011 is when they reveal a lot about it.

Does anyone here play the Wii as their main console? The outlook for Wii games is really bad.

X-Factor is the resident Wii man.

With the Wii, I just think it's time to announce a new home console. A console that doesn't max out at 480p.

Heck the projected 3DS lineup sounds better than the Wii's upcoming lineup.

I wouldn't consider myself a devoted 'fanboi' of the Xbox but I play it a lot more then my PS3. It would take 2-3 REALLY good years, like this one looks like for the PS3, to catch up, IMO.

I don't understand why people can't like each of them for their strengths, tho :)

Agree with you, except for the years. I think it's closer to 1-2 REALLY good years. And remember, the 360 was launched one full year ahead of the PS3, so naturally it's going to be ahead, especially since it's an American product.

360 will always lead in the online department, we all know that, but I feel like LIVE and a few exclusives are their only selling points. Their exclusive list really is dwindling. They lost Mass Effect, there will be no more Bungie made Halo games, Epic Games president keeps talking about bringing the Gears series to multiplat status. Exclusives are the #1 way to differentiate yourself from the competition.

The 360 REALLY needs to surprise people at E3 this summer with a few new exclusive games. Last year they showed off Kinect, and that isn't going to win any console wars. Neither is the PS Move. Alan Wake kind of didn't live up to its expectations. They still have Forza 4, which has a good chance to be better than Sony's GT5. Fable, how much longer will Peter Molyneux keep making those? Someone will take over the Halo series, but can they keep the name alive?

Lots of questions I have about the 360, and I can't wait until E3 to see if they're answered.

Excellent post and I can't disagree with any of it. We really might be in the midst of a change. I do wonder how bad the problems in Japan are going to affect Sony. Not much has been reported yet. Nonetheless, there is no denying that Sony has a lot of momentum at the moment.

The funny thing is that even though a lot of gamers don't even consider Nintendo, their total sales, with all of their gaming platforms, outsellf Xbox and Sony, worldwide.

Long term, time will tell. Short term, I know some servers were shut down for Metal Gear Online and Final Fantasy 14 (pc only right now). They also cancelled Disaster Report 4, because it'd be in bad taste to release that game. Yakuza: Of the End was delayed indefinitely. Sony put Motorstorm Apocalypse on hold for now. Apparently that game deals with natural disasters. Some DLC for Marvel vs Capcom 3 was delayed. Rumors of Sony delaying the NGP. Sounds like a few 3DS games are being delayed/cancelled as well.

I do use the Wii as my main gaming console...and it's awesome for what is...but you gotta know up front there's not going to be a lot of multiplats for it. For me and my family, it's good...I get goldeneye and the occasional sports game...they get the "fun stuff" like bowling and dancing and a lot of the same shit you can do now w/ kinect and move and what not.

All I want from E3 is the announcement on Grand Theft Auto 5. I play GTAIV to this day, it's been too long for there not to be a follow up on such a big seller. Red Dead Redemption was worthy of setting it back, but I need a new Grand Theft game. So much potential for the next one, especially if they continue to build on their online modes.

As for the 360 exclusives, they had their reign, now it's the PS3's time. What goes up must come down.

I doubt that Gears will ever be multi-platform. Halo and Gears are Microsoft's babies, I could see them paying whatever it takes to keep those in house.

Titles like Halo and Fable are probably done, as far as good games go. Fable 3 was a huge disappointment, I don't even want to see the series continue. Halo, as mentioned, will no long be made by Bungie, so that franchise is up in the air. It's time for some new things for the X-Box exclusives, but I doubt they make as big of a splash this year as they did in previous ones.

All I know is that it's a great time to have both systems. Glad I bought a Ps3 a couple months ago. Even though I'm not much of a fan of the controller, there's some fun games to play. Maybe when I get done with the first Uncharted that'll get me hyped to play part two and then three when it comes out.
