looks good, of course Evil Dead 2 was already a re-make of Evil Dead and it's pretty damn good. I think it'll be interesting to see what a new generation does with this movie.

Cape Fear was a damn sight better, yeah. The Punisher with Thomas Jane killed the Lundgren version. Loved the 1982 version of The Thing. Other than that, I don't know. They need to stop with the remakes though, seriously. Mad Max is next on the shit list.

I don't know. I haven't seen either, but I know both are fairly well regarded. I don't have the remake, but I do have the original. I just haven't gotten around to watching it.
