Veteran cornerback Walt Harris has agreed to a one-year deal with the Baltimore Ravens.
Harris has played 13 years, although he missed last season while recovering from a knee injury. He was a first-round draft choice of the Bears in 1996 and spent six seasons in Chicago. He has played for three other NFL teams, most recently the San Francisco 49ers from 2006-2008. Harris was named to the Pro Bowl in 2006, when he had a career-high eight interceptions.
He provides depth to the Ravens at a position where Lardarius Webb and Fabian Washington are both returning from knee surgery.
The deal announced Thursday will be completed after the 35-year-old Harris passes a physical.
